Somar launches B2B Sales Portal

Platform allows resellers to consult the products’ technical information and replenish stock

Somar has just launched the Somar Online B2B Sales Portal, a new sales channel aimed at machine and tool resellers of the brand which is the leader in the manufacture and sale of bench vises in Brazil. The new platform allows resellers from all over Brazil to access the portal, consult technical information of products, prices and replace their stock 24 hours a day, seven days a week, quickly and safely.

In addition to accessing the online catalog with product prices, the reseller customer will be able to consult the tax values in real time, since the platform is integrated with the factory’s ERP. To view the product catalog with prices, the previously registered reseller just needs to access and browse the platform.

“Many times, the customer only has time to make purchases outside business hours and with the B2B Portal, the reseller can replenish his/her stock without compromising the routine, all autonomously and in a few clicks”, comments Milton Fischer, general sales manager.

The Somar Online B2B Portal project is part of the company’s digital strategic planning and was developed by a multidisciplinary team. The initiative follows the market transformation trend, where the use of digital media has been accelerated due to the covid-19 pandemic, changing the way people buy, interact and relate. This reality also became part of the needs of large enterprises, construction companies and other segments, together with retail chains.
